The Orthman Stalkpuller 5000 and 6000

The Orthman Stalk Puller is a high-speed, low-horsepower fall or spring residue management tool. Large V-discs operate on the crop to pinch and pull out root balls to provide a residue-free seedbed prepared for the planting operation. Typically operated at speeds of 10 mph. and slightly higher, the stalk puller can quickly prepare acres for the planting operation. The Stalk Puller is available in a wide range of implement sizes and toolbar models to meet the needs of virtually any operation. Additional attachments such as rolling choppers, rolling baskets, and gauge wheels increase the residue management the Stalk Puller provides. Stalk Puller adjustability and versatility adapt to various field conditions for optimum residue management.

The 5000 version is simply the row unit and the 6000 version includes choppers to cut residue in front of the large V-discs.
