The Orthman Terra Firm’r and its universal mounting scenario can be added to virtually any tillage implement to even further polish the tillage application. The rugged gooseneck style design allows for the Terra Firm’r to easily be mounted with the simple addition of a ball hitch to the existing implement. Although designed with the Fallow-Master and Lazer Blade Plow in mind, the Terra Firm’r can take existing tillage to the next level.
Primarily utilized as a seedbed preparation tool to assist in early seed development, the Terra Firm’r is also used behind rippers, field cultivators, and discs to break up residue and large clods to provide a field free of soil surface variability.
The Terra Firm’r is available in working widths ranging from 14’ to 56’ to meet the needs of an operation of any size.
Terra Firm’r Features
A wide flange beam tongue constructed of 8” x 4” heavy duty steel is reinforced by additional 4” x 4” tongue and wing braces.- The gooseneck design with a 2-5/16” ball allows the Terra Firm’r to easily clear the towing implement without side draft or interference.
- Used for either fall or spring applications, the Terra Firm’r crumblers produce 200 lbs. per ft. of downforce to which no other machine in the industry can match.
- Orthman’s innovative scraper bars alleviate the opportunity for moist field residue to adhere to the baskets. Standard equipment scraper bars reduce the costly downtime of unplugging on all Terra Firm’r models.
- Safety lighting and SMV sign provide operator and traffic safety as the Terra Firm’r adds extensive implement length.
- Rearward mounted transport 11L x 15 8ply tires on 6 bolt wheels and 2 10” lift cylinders allow for the safe transport of the implement.
- The durable 7”x 7” mainframe is built to withstand rough ground with unwavering uniformity.
